This three day course aims to provide an understanding of timber frame construction by the erection of a timber framed building.

• The setting out and construction of a timber box frame building
• The marking out and cutting of typical traditional carpentry joints
• The bracing and stability of timber framed buildings.
Who is the Course For?
This particular course is suitable for anyone interested in developing a more detailed knowledge of the construction principles of timber framed buildings that may aid both the inspection and conservation of these buildings.

Clothing and PPE
Please bring overalls or suitable working clothes and safety footwear. Gloves and goggles will be provided during the course.
